Dear friends, sponsors, and supporters,
Adelante Worcester is so grateful to everyone who’s reached out to us during our long recess. Sorry, that we have been inactive. We are now ready to RECONNECT!
Difficult times during the recent health pandemic led to postponed event planning. We searched out alternative solutions to continue with our mission during those uncertain times. But, we were unsuccessful due to our low bandwidth, health, and misfortunes.
Your trust in Adelante Worcester’s comeback means the world to us. We have been quietly working and are currently looking forward to sharing our exciting ideas and events to reconnect and engage once more with our Worcester community.
One thing is for sure, that Adelante Worcester is still here. Let’s Reconnect! Thank you for your support and for believing in our Mission!
ADELANTE Worcester aims to promote and empower the Hispanic/Latino community of Greater Worcester
through networking events that help to bring together professionals in Worcester, MA for professional development, research and cultural events that help inform our participants about the latest trends in the Latino community. Over the past decade since 2009, Adelante Worcester has brought together Latino community leaders, businesses, educators, families, elected and appointed officials, and friends from the entire region.

- Brainstorming Sessions to evaluate what is needed in the community – 3 sessions
- Close to 50 Professional and Social Networking Events
- Two school committee forums to highlight the challenges facing our students in the public school system
- Se Puede: A conference in collaboration with College of the Holy Cross, The Latino Education Institute at Worcester State University and Adelante Worcester about the status of Latino education in Worcester. Mayor’s Commission on Latino Educational Excellence, met and published, Creating the Will: A Community Road Map to Achieving Educational Excellence for Latino Students in Worcester
- Participant in the Annual Latin American Business Organization (LABO) event at the DCU Center
- “El Parrandon” Fiesta Navideña! with over 300 guests celebrating traditional Latino culture
- Electronic Newsletter with updates on the Latino community
- A Facebook page with over 1k friends. (“Like” our page)
